Hot Dog Soup

Your kids can skip the ketchup and mustard and eat their hot dogs in a chunky, stew-like soup. A small bowl makes a filling lunch--especially when served with a grilled hot dog bun on the side.

3 medium Carrots, chopped

2 medium Onions, chopped
1 Garlic Clove, minced
2 T Butter or Margarine
11 1/2 oz V-8 or Tomato Juice
28 oz Baked Beans in Brown Sugar Sauce
8 Hot Dogs, cut into 1" pieces
1 T Worcestershire Sauce
American or Cheddar Cheese, shredded

1.
Cook carrots, onions and garlic in the butter in a 3 Qt sauce pan, stirring frequently until crisp and tender.

2. Stir in the remaining ingredients except for the cheese.

3. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally until hot. Serve with cheese.
